Nickolas Means loves nothing more than a story of engineering triumph (except maybe a story of engineering disaster). When he's not stuck in a Wikipedia loop reading about plane crashes, he's a Senior Engineering Manager at GitHub working on secure coding and dependency management tools. He works remotely from Austin, TX, and spends his spare time hanging out with his wife and kids, going on runs, and trying to brew the perfect cup of coffee.

Donna has been enabling technical teams for over twenty years. She is passionate about helping businesses scale, creating great workplace environments where people can thrive. Donna works for AWS as the Partner Manager across WA/SA and was previously the State Delivery Manager at Readify, leading a team of 80. She is the CEO of startup SHOUTOUT - a simple recognition platform designed to help companies create a culture of gratitude. Donna is passionate about community and is a Volunteer for many NFP groups including Women in Technology WA, Muses Code JS, Tech Girls Movement and is a Beacon Foundation mentor. Donna was recognised for her contribution to Professional Services and Community with a 40 under 40 Award in 2019.
Lee Briggs is a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Apptio. With almost 10 years of experience designing, building and maintaining distributed and complex systems, he wears the scars of many deployment tools. When he’s not trying to fit monolithic applications into containers, he playing and watching Soccer and walks with his family and dog, Toby.
Molly is a people person who has a passion for technology and how it influences our everyday lives. She is currently the Head of People and Culture for RecordPoint and she's loving every action-packed minute of it. Helping people succeed is her ongoing career goal. She aspires to make enough small differences that the molehills become a mountain. When she's not working she's finding a new craft hobby, playing MtG or outside in the sunshine.
Gleidson Nascimento is a software engineering leader based in Wellington, New Zealand. He has been responsible for delivering automation to large and complex integration environments and for helping CxO-level executives to technically bootstrap start-ups, from ideation all the way to Series C funding. He is also an active open-source developer, helping organisations to deliver FOSS solutions to the community, such as Moleculer-go and goa.design. He is also a member of CentOS PaaS SIG. Currently, he works at SECTION6 as a Consultant, assisting to foster a continuous learning and improvement culture to its employees. He also publicly speaks at conferences and provides workshops about company culture, automation and communication.
Lindsay Holmwood is an engineering leader based in Australia. He currently works at Section as Director of Product. Previously, he served as the Head of Technology at the Australian federal government's Digital Transformation Agency, and as an Engineering Manager at Envato.Since bringing DevOps to Australia by running the second ever DevOpsDays conference in 2010, he runs the the longest running DevOps meetup in the world in Sydney. He regularly speaks on technology culture, DevOps, digital transformation, and building high performing teams. He also won third place at the 1996 Sydney Royal Easter Show LEGO building competition.
Matty Stratton is a DevOps Advocate at PagerDuty, where he helps dev and ops teams advance the practice of their craft and become more operationally mature. He collaborates with PagerDuty customers and industry thought leaders in the broader DevOps community, and back when he drove, his license plate actually said “DevOps”. Matty has over 20 years experience in IT operations, ranging from large financial institutions such as JPMorganChase and internet firms, including Apartments.com. He is a sought-after speaker internationally, presenting at Agile, DevOps, and ITSM focused events, including ChefConf, DevOpsDays, Interop, PINK, and others worldwide. Matty is the founder and co-host of the popular Arrested DevOps podcast, as well as a global organizer of the DevOpsDays set of conferences. He lives in Chicago and has three awesome kids - Henry, Joey, and Sophia, who he loves just a little bit more than he loves *Doctor Who*. He is currently on a mission to discover the best pho in the world.
Peter McCool was raised by quantum mechanics and so came to regard computers as a tool to do one's dirty work from a young age. He started his IT career in 1995, in desktop support. Since then he's been a UNIX system administrator, various kinds of developer, a tester, and a solution architect, among other things. DevOps, as something that involves all of these things and then some, fascinates him.
Jesse has worked in large enterprises down to tiny startups in roles such as CTO, Systems Administrator and Software Engineer. Jesse has been striving to automate anything vaguely repetitive looking with computers, and to improve trust, communication and efficiency between dev and ops, since the early days of the world wide web. Jesse co-authored the open source monitoring notification system, Flapjack. Jesse is currently a Professional Services Engineer with Puppet in Australia.
Heidi is a developer advocate with LaunchDarkly. She delights in working at the intersection of usability, risk reduction, and cutting-edge technology. One of her favorite hobbies is talking to developers about things they already knew but had never thought of that way before. She sews all her conference dresses so that she's sure there is a pocket for the mic.
